  • Understand the legal requirements related to chemical usage
  • Understand the User Roles in GHS implementation
  • Understand the GHS Hazard Classification such as Physical, Health and environmental hazards
  • Understand the GHS labels and Pictograms usage
  • Know what types of information are found in each of the 16 sections of an SDS
  • Conduct training for workers about GHS product labels, hazards, safety procedures
  • Understand Safety procedures involved in the storage, handling and transportation of chemicals

Qualification or experience of facilitators:

A facilitator and assessor of this course will possess the following:

  1. Advanced Certificate in WSH.
  2. Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) qualification .
  3. At least 3 years of working experience in oil & petrochemical industry.
